- Wisspy is a messaging-first expense tracker. You send a message — text, receipt photo, or voice note — to a WhatsApp or Telegram bot. Wisspy logs, categorizes, and converts it to your currency automatically.
- How does expense tracking via WhatsApp work?
- Once your account is linked, just message the bot: "pizza $18", a receipt photo, or a voice note. The bot extracts amount, merchant, category, and currency. You can then browse all expenses on the web dashboard with monthly and category reports.
- What languages does Wisspy support?
- The bot understands French, English, and Arabic (including darija). You can write the way you speak: "kahwa 2" or "taxi 8" all work.
- Which currencies does Wisspy support?
- Any currency. You pick your default during onboarding, and expenses in other currencies are converted at the current FX rate. Currencies are shown with the right precision — for example the Tunisian Dinar with three decimals (millimes).
- How does receipt scanning work?
- Take a photo of a receipt and send it to the bot. An OCR engine extracts total, VAT, merchant, and date, then categorizes the expense. Images are processed and then deleted.
- Can I use Telegram too?
- Yes. Wisspy works the same way on Telegram and WhatsApp. You can link both to the same account.
