How does expense tracking via WhatsApp work?

Once your account is linked, just message the bot: "pizza 18 dt", a receipt photo, or a voice note. The bot extracts amount, merchant, category, and currency. You can then browse all expenses on the web dashboard with monthly and category reports.

What languages does Wisspy support?

The bot understands French, English, and Tunisian Arabic (darija). You can write the way you speak: "kahwa 2 dinars" or "taxi 8dt" all work.

Does Wisspy work with Tunisian Dinar?

Yes. Tunisian Dinar (TND) is the default currency, displayed with three decimals (millimes) as used locally. Expenses in other currencies are converted at the current FX rate.

How does receipt scanning work?

Take a photo of a receipt and send it to the bot. An OCR engine extracts total, VAT, merchant, and date, then categorizes the expense. Images are processed and then deleted.

Can I use Telegram too?

Yes. Wisspy works the same way on Telegram and WhatsApp. You can link both to the same account.

Is my financial data private?

Yes. Data is hosted in the EU, encrypted at rest and in transit. We never share data with advertisers. Receipts and voice notes are deleted after processing.

Can I share expenses with friends or roommates?

Yes. You can create shared groups, split expenses, and see who owes whom. Ideal for flatmates, trips, and nights out.
